“I am thrilled to be given this opportunity to join the coaching team at Cygnus Gymnastics. Thank you so much for the opportunity to grow with the club as the Head Coach. I am looking forward to working with the coaches at the club, grow the program and improve the level of gymnastics at Cygnus as well as in the province of Newfoundland. I am excited to experience living in another province as well as introducing myself to everything east coast culture has to offer. I look forward to meeting all of you in August!”

Ashley's Biography:

• Graduate of the Seneca College Coaching Diploma program

• Provincial and National Open level athlete for 10 years

• Level 3 certified Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach 

• Level 3 Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Judge

• Interclub and Provincial Competitive Coach - Oakville Gymnastics Club from 2006 to present

• Experience coaching National level gymnasts 

• Ashley received Oakville's Sport Recognition Coach Award in 2009

• Previous Recreational and Interclub Coach at Burlington Gymnastics Club

• Professional Cheerleader for the Hamilton Tiger Cats (CFL)

• Coordinator of and Head Coach at the CanUsa Games from 2005 through 2008

• Coached at the Ontario Eastern Gymnastics Championships in 2008 and 2009

• Has a keen flare for dance, choreography and group routines

• In 2008, Oakville Gymnastics Club received the Canadian Gymnastics Club of the Year Award by Gymnastics Canada, recognizing the top contribution by a Canadian gymnastics club to the sport and to its membership

• In 2007, Oakville Gymnastics Club received the Top Ontario Gymnastics Club Award
