ABOUT THE TEAM
Led by the provinces’ only level 4 coach trained under the National Coaching Certification Program, our coaching team is supported by 6 Level 3 coaches.
Our team is committed to developing strong, confident young women who have the tools needed for success both inside and outside of the gym. Our gymnasts consistently place among the best in the country and maintain superior academic records in the classroom. We regularly graduate athletes from our program who go on to experience success in medical school, graduate school, law enforcement, and at the highest level of gymnastics coaching.
Our women’s program follows the Gymnastics Canada Junior Olympic Program and leads into high performance streams. Hard work in a committed team environment is key to this program’s success. While developing an exceptional level of training and excellence in competition is a key goal, the overarching theme of our program is about helping each gymnast attain their personal best’ and being the best we can be as a team. The health and safety of our gymnasts is paramount in all our training practices.
Training plans are typically anywhere from 9 hours a week to 25 hours a week based on the athletes’ age, level, and ability.
All gymnasts in our competitive program must tryout and are accepted at the
sole discretion of our Coaching team.
